Hai!
We like to storytelling about amazing, inspiration and motivation novel or film entitled “Laskar Pelangi” By Andrea Hirata and published in 2005, our group consists of Denisa Roito N, Joanna Malika H, Katarina Genoa HL and Tuppak M.
0rientation
This story set in Belitung with Ikal and his friends as the main cast. Laskar Pelangi is a story that tells about the struggle of poor children to achieve their minds, this story begins with the showing Belitung Island in 1974 where at that time this island had extraordinary tin potential so that the majority of the people there worked as coolies in tin mining, Ikal the son of a father who worked in tin mining that morning was the day Ikal would be registered to school using his father's bicycle who brought fish to be registered for school. At that time the school was considered useless "it would be useless for the school if it ended up being a coolie too" people said, especially the situation where he was going to school the condition of the building was very poor. Muhammadiyah Primary School is the oldest Islamic school in the region so a teacher named Mrs. Muslimah along with Mr. Harfan intends to revive the school to save the education of poor children on one of the richest islands in the country. Actually, besides this elementary school, there is another private school called SD PN Timah which is a school for middle- and upper-class people, with conditions that are like earth and sky with SD Muhammadiyah.
Complication
Unfortunately, in order for SD Muhammadiyah to be able to carry out teaching and learning activities, the central school government gave a minimum requirement that there must be 10 new students who registered and, in the morning, Mrs. Muslimah and Mr. Harfan had got 9 prospective students who would go to school there, less than one more person, Mr. Harfan also said "we wait until 11 o'clock, Mus" but it was about noon that no one came to the school anymore, Mr. Harfan with a heavy heart told that parents should accept with airiness the condition.
Resolution
Mrs. Muslimah did not give up she said she would go out to find one more student, typed to leave from a distance there was a very special child running to school the child's name is Harun, because his presence was even the requirement for the number of students and these poor children could go to school there.
Reorient
Whatever the conditions, we must still have the spirit of learning to achieve our dreams and become successful people
Conclusion
After we watched this story, we were very motivated by the struggles of Ikal and friends, because even with the poor school conditions and the problems that existed, they never gave up and still had a high spirit in learning to change a better life
